Project
Overview
Peach Alley Music Studio is a fictional local recording studio brand I created to explore community, creativity, and sound.
This project challenged me to build a full visual identity from scratch. One that could speak to both passionate indie artists and first-time musicians looking for a welcoming space to bring their songs to life.
Logo Breakdown
The logo brings together sound, motion, and character in a single mark:
Typography: Hand-drawn, high-energy lettering gives the brand a voice that’s as unique as the artists it records—confident, expressive, and community-driven.
Symbolism: The circular layout and curved lines mimic the grooves of a vinyl record, instantly evoking a sense of nostalgia while tying into the studio’s mission of preserving authentic sound.
Color Use: Set against a vibrant orange backdrop, the logo radiates warmth and energy. The contrast between the bold orange tones and deep black creates visual impact that translates seamlessly across merch, signage, and digital platforms.

Wordmark
The Peach Alley color system is built to balance retro charm with a modern sensibility. Each tone plays a distinct role in shaping the brand’s personality:
#f7901e – Peach Orange
The core brand color, this warm orange brings energy, friendliness, and a DIY spirit to the forefront. It evokes vintage vinyl labels and screen-printed band tees—bold, nostalgic, and unmistakable.#231f20 – Black
Deep and grounding, this near-black serves as the perfect contrast to let brighter elements shine. It anchors the brand with a sense of focus and edge, much like a great baseline in a track.#fefdeb – Cream
Used as a soft background alternative to white, this tone adds warmth and approachability. It evokes paper textures and old studio walls—comforting, analog, and human.#ffffff – Pure White
Included for clarity and contrast, white is used sparingly to keep the brand fresh and readable when needed, especially across digital and printed materials.
